For IDEO Kankada programmed the Globe User Interface. The interface was part of a technology demonstration for Steelcase, the office equipment manufacturer, for the Worklife Chicago Showroom. Kankada programmed a Director-based application whereby a single touchscreen-accessed PC would control nine other PCs via a TCP/IP network. The client PCs would display synchronized digital video on nine large flat screen plasma displays. In addition, the application simulated a collaborative work environment utilizing the networked PCs (shown here).
